Explanation:

I did take an interest in memorising `pi` when I was much younger, but did not bother to memorise it past about `40` decimal places.

My method was to memorise groups of about `5` or `6` digits at a time, making sure I remembered them, before memorising the next group a day or two later.

It is not particularly useful to know `pi` to this accuracy, but I guess it makes a little party trick.

If you do not really want to memorise a whole load of digits, then just memorise `355/113 ~~ 3.1415929` which is an excellent approximation to `pi` discovered by a Chinese mathematician about `1500` years ago.
