The helium atom has 2 electrons.

Explanation:

How did I know this? Well, I looked at the Periodic Table, and saw that for HeHe, Z=2Z=2. If Z=2Z=2, this means that there are 2 positive charges, 2 protons, in the helium nucleus, and for electrical neutrality there must be 2 negative charges, 2 electrons, also associated with the atom.
