Of course. You can see clear evidence of many copper compounds that have been synthesized. "CuCl", "CuCl"_2, "Cu"("OH")_2, "CuO", "Cu"_2"O", . . . etc. Hence, copper is reactive.

It is a d^10 metal with one 4s electron. Thus, it can react to form compounds involving "Cu"("I") or "Cu"("II") as the most common cations of copper.
