Should'nt the optimum pH of pancreatic amylase differ from that of salivary amylase?
These enzymes are found in different environments i.e. the mouth and the intestine, so you would expect them to have different requirements especially since enzymes are a very picky bunch......

Yeah,that's it.
Optimum pH for Salivary amylase is 7.2 (average)
And for Pancreatic amylase 8.2 (average)
