Explanation:
Isaiah uses some rhetorical questions when ridiculing the worship of idols. My favourite example is in Isaiah 44:19 where he says:
"Shall I bow down to a block of wood?"
Does not satan use rhetorical questions in his conversation with God in Job 1:9-10?
"Does Job fear God for no reason? Have you not put a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side?"
In Romans 6:1, Paul asks:
"Shall we sin to our heart's content and see how far we can exploit the grace of God?"
