Explanation:

1) Kreon is speaking about the way wealth (or the lack thereof) tends to harm people. How money has made life worse because of people's desire for it, etc.

2) Antigone is saying that because of her many troubles, she would be glad to die.

3) Kreon is referencing bravado and how death is a powerful, primal fear. Even the bold flinch from it.
