So gradient (slope) ->m = -2
y_("intercept")->c=9/7

Explanation:

Subtract 14x from both sides

7y=9-14x

Divide both sides by 7

y=-14/7x+9/7

y=-2x+9/7

Compare to y=mx+c where m is the gradient and the y-intercept is c.

So gradient (slope) ->m->-2
y_("intercept")->c=9/7
