y=(-x-1)(3x-2)(4x+1)

First multiply the two binomials using FOIL method:

So,

rarr(-x-1)(3x-2)=-3x^2+2x-3x+2=(-3x^2-x+2)

Now multiply:

(-3x^2-x+2)(4x+1)

Use the distributive law and multiply:
