y=7x^2-10x+8

Explanation:

y=(-x+2)(7x+4)

First we can multiply the two binomials using the FOIL method:

ul First=-x*7x=-7x^2

ul Outer=-x*4=-4x

ul Inner=2*7x=14x

ul Last=2*4=8

Now combine them:

rarr-7x^2-4x+14x+8

rarr=-7x^2-10x+8

So in Standard form:

rArry=-7x^2-10x+8

Standard form of y=(−x+2)(7x+4) is y=ax^2+bx+c

Explanation:

Expanding y=(−x+2)(7x+4)

y=-7x^2+14x-4x+8 or y=-7x^2+10x+8

Hence standard form of y=(−x+2)(7x+4) is y=ax^2+bx+c
