In general, one must either use a table like this or a computer program to determine the z-score associated with a particular CDF or vice versa.
To use this table, find the value you are looking for, in this case 0.65. The row tells you the ones and the tenth place and the column tells you the hundredth place.
So, for 0.65, we can see that the value is between 0.38 and 0.39.
