This is only asking about one equation. This should take no more than 1 minute.

Momentum is just the quantity of motion for a moving object.

Hence you need mass and velocity.

p=mv
where p is momentum, m is mass in kg, and v is velocity in m/s.

So...

p1=m1v1
p2=m2v2

p1 ? p2

(5 kg)(8 m/s) ? (12 kg)(2 m/s)

40 kgm/s>24 kgm/s

Hence

p1>p2
