Structural functions
Enzymes
Hormones
Anti-bodies
Protein receptors
Transport proteins
Antigens

Explanation:

For structural function an example is myosin in muscles but protein is also structurally essential in the making of new cells for growth and repair.

All enzymes are made of proteins they control metabolic reactions.

An example of a hormone made of protein is insulin (be aware not all hormones are made of protein!).

Antibodies are involved in the immune response and are made of protein.

Protein receptors are found on the cell surface membrane, an example of where you would find a protein receptor for insulin would be on the cell surface membrane of a liver cell

Transport proteins e.g carrier proteins and channel proteins found in the plasma membrane allow the passage of large, water soluble and ionic particles/molecules through the partially permeable membrane.

Finally, antigens which allow recognition of the cell as self and non-self .
