do you need to find the y-intercept??

If so, you have to arrange it into y=mx+c equation

Explanation:

m= gradient
c= y-intercept

bing your 2x to the right side...becomes (-2x)
then, divide all over it with -3, so you have only y at the left hand side

Thus,

-3y=-2x-18
y=(-2x-18)/-3

:. y=2/3x+6

m= 2/3
c= 6
