Use the distributive property and simplify, to get

(sqrt(2x)-sqrt(6))^2
color(white)("XXX")=(color(red)(sqrt(2x)-sqrt(6)))*(color(blue)(sqrt(2x)-sqrt(6)))

color(white)("XXX")=color(red)(sqrt(2x))(color(blue)(sqrt(2x)-sqrt(6)))-color(red)(sqrt(6))(color(blue)(sqrt(2x)-sqrt(6)))

color(white)("XXX")=2x-sqrt(12x) -sqrt(12x)+6

color(white)("XXX")=2x-4sqrt(3x)+6
