Explanation:

Whenever I see an equation with a fraction, I like to get rid of it. You can do that in this case by multiplying by 55 (don't forget to do it at the right side):
5*18-\cancel(5) * 2/\cancel(5) m=5*(-2)
90-2m=-10
Now we can bring the 90 over to seperate the m:
\cancel(90-90)-2m=-10-90
-2m=-100
Now, all we need to do is divide by -2
\cancel(-2)m/\cancel(-2)=-100/-2
m=50
