The solution for the system of equations is
color(blue)(x=3,y=6

Explanation:

5x−2y=3........equation (1)

y=color(blue)(2x).................equation (2)

Solving by substitution

Substituting equation (2) in equation (1)
5x−2y=3

5x−2 *color(blue)(2x)=3
5x−4x=3
color(blue)(x=3

Now finding the value of y by substituting x in equation 1
5x−2y=3

5x−3=2y

y=(5x-3)/2

y=(15-3)/2
color(blue)(y=6
