In this equation you can not solve for $y$ , for there is no $y$ in it.

But we can surely solve for $x$ , which goes as follows :-

$((2x)/5)-(x/3)=3$

$(3×2x -5×x)/15=3$

$6x-5x=3×15$

$x=75$

$:. color(Brown)(x =75)$
