How to find the x and y-intercept given `(3,4) and (9,9)`?

Probably there is an easier way but...
Find the equation through these two points:
`(x-9)/(9-3)=(y-9)/(9-4)`
`(x-9)/6=(y-9)/5`
`5x-45=6y-54`
`6y=5x+9`
`y=5/6x+9/6`
`y=5/6x+3/2`
Now:
x-intercept
Set `y=0` so: `x=-3/2×6/5=-9/5`

y-intercept
Set `x=0` so `y=3/2`
