Hi, I'm in year 9 and I really don't know where to start with this algebra question! Please send help!

(3x)/6-x/6=4

Then, you subtract and it will equal

(2x)/6=4

Then, you follow PEMDAS and multiply 6 on both sides to eliminate the divide by 6, so it would equal

2x=24

You divide by 2 on both sides and x will equal 12.
