$f'(x)=(N'(x)*D(x)-D'(x)*N(x))/((D(x))^2)$

Then:

$f'(x)=(1*(x-7)-1*(x+5))/(x-7)^2=(cancel(x)-7cancel(-x)-5)/(x-7)^2=$
