So, my assumption is that you’re solving for #x#, and so you’d add the one to the negative fifteen, leaving you with

#4x - 14 = 6x#

Then you’d subtract the #4x# from the #6x#, leaving you with

#-14 = 2x#

You’d divide two from both sides, giving you
