This is an equation with constants ( just numbers ) and only 1 unknown (x), so it is solvable.

Collecting all the $x$ terms on one side of the equals sign and all the constants on the other side.

With add's or subtract's to move to the other side of the = change the sign giving:

We need the $-3x$ and the $-19$ to change sides.

$11x+4x+3x=-4+19$

$18x=15$

To get rid of the 18 from $18x$ turn it into 1 so that instead of $18xx x$ we have $1xx x$ which is just $x$

Divide both sides by 18

$18/18xx x=15/18$

$1xx x= (15-:3)/(18-:3) = 5/6$
