With add's or subtract's to move to the other side of the = change the sign giving:

We need the -3x and the -19 to change sides.

11x+4x+3x=-4+19

18x=15

To get rid of the 18 from 18x turn it into 1 so that instead of 18xx x we have 1xx x which is just x

Divide both sides by 18

18/18xx x=15/18

1xx x= (15-:3)/(18-:3) = 5/6
