The Heron formula which gives the area `S` of a triangle is

`S=sqrt[t(t-a)(t-b)(t-c)]`

where `a,b,c` the sides of the triangle and `t` the semiperimeter

hence `t=(a+b+c)/2`

Replace the values `a=12 , b=5 , c=10` to get the area of the triangle.
