I'm not sure whether you made a typo in the question, but I'll answer anyway.

$f(x) = -1$ is a $color(red)("constant function")$ , meaning that it's value is the same for all $x$ , even if $x$ approaches infinity.

In other words, $-1$ has nothing to do with $x$ or what values it approaches. It's going to be $-1$ all of them, as it's just a constant.

$lim_(x->oo) - 1 = -1$
